The Sauce Pot was founded by Stan Phewa in 2022. Stan grew up in a Zulu village in South Africa and moved to the UK in 2008 when he married Amelia, a Yorkshire lass. Stan has always been a passionate chef, blending his love for South African flavours with a focus on fresh ingredients and health. 
 

Stan is constantly experimenting with new flavours and ingredients and has developed a range of sauces that are packed with flavour and quality fresh ingredients. Stan’s passion for flavour and all things BBQ (or braai as they call it in South Africa) caught the attention of friends and family, who couldn't get enough of his delicious sauces. It wasn't long before Stan realised he had something special on his hands, and The Sauce Pot was born.

Today, The Sauce Pot continues to be driven by Stan’s passion for flavour and his commitment to quality. Each and every one of his sauces is crafted with care, using only the finest ingredients and traditional techniques.
